My name is Maryam Far. I was born and raised in Iran. I studied architecture, first in my home country and then in Italy at Politecnico di Milano. My journey in architecture, along with my cultural background and life in the art-rich country of Italy, has allowed me to connect with two worlds, both filled with history and beauty.
Over the years, my passion for architecture, especially interior design, found a new path in ceramics. I came across clay almost by chance, starting as a hobby driven by a desire to create with my hands and shape ideas differently. From the start, I felt a strong connection to it: this living, flexible, and essential material became the way for me to turn ideas into real objects, designed to bring balance and harmony to everyday spaces and this is how, for over ten years, ceramics has become an integral part of my life and artistic practice.
In my ceramic work, precision and creativity blend together, along with a keen focus on materials and a love for detail. Each piece reflects my journey—a crossroads of cultures, experiences, and evolving perspectives.
